Spring FREE Waste Events

Mayor O'Connell and the Department of Public Works have partnered to bring Taunton residents free waste events throughout the year.

As spring has finally arrived, we are excited to share the free waste events we have planned for the next three months.

April:

Free Yard Waste Drop-Off All Month!

Every Saturday from 8am-3pm (Convenience Center, 330 East Britannia Street)

Drop off your leaves, grass clippings and branches for FREE

May:

Free Electronic Waste Drop-Off

Saturday, May 17, 2025

8am-3pm (Convenience Center, 330 East Britannia Street)

Drop off old TV's, computers and electronics for FREE

June:

Free Auto Waste Drop-Off All Month!

Every Saturday from 8am-3pm (Convenience Center, 330 East Britannia Street)

Drop off tires (4 per resident), oil, and lead acid batteries for FREE

Proof of residency required

No commercial waste

No box trucks
