City to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday

The following City of Colorado Springs administrative and elected administrative offices and agencies will be fully closed on Monday, Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day:

  • Administrative offices for Mountain Metropolitan Transit
  • City Administration Building
  • City Clerk
  • City Hall
  • Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum
  • Evergreen and Fairview Cemeteries Offices (Gates open to visitors)
  • Municipal Court
  • Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Administrative Building
  • Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site
  • Sales Tax Office
  • Sports Office at Memorial Park
  • Therapeutic Recreation Program at Westside Community Center
  • Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center

The following City entities are either open as usual or have adjusted operating hours, as noted below:

  • Pikes Peak - America's Mountain - Open normal hours
  • Patty Jewett and Valley Hi golf courses - Open normal hours 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (weather permitting)
  • Patty Jewett Bar & Grill - Open 8 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
  • Caddie's at Valley Hi - Open 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. 
  • Sertich Ice Center - No public sessions
  • Skate in the Park at Acacia Park presented by Academy Bank - Open for public session from 1-3 p.m., 4-6 p.m., & 7-9 p.m.
