Department of Commerce Shatters Records with $383 Billion in Advocacy Commercial Deals Under President Trump

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced that the International Trade Administration's Advocacy Center has secured more than $383 billion in commercial deals won through U.S. Government commercial advocacy since January 20, 2025. This record-shattering $383 billion is more than five times the $73.4 billion generated during the same time period of the Biden Administration. This unprecedented Trump Administration achievement includes 216 signed contracts, generating $322.6 billion in U.S. export content and supporting 1.3 million American jobs.

Under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Lutnick, American businesses are competing-and winning-on the global stage like never before. These historic commercial achievements demonstrate that governments and companies around the world recognize the unmatched quality, innovation, and reliability of American products, services, and technologies. Working in close coordination with the U.S. Commercial Service, the Advocacy Center is translating the Trump Administration's America First priorities into tangible victories for American companies and workers, expanding U.S. exports, strengthening American competitiveness, and securing U.S. leadership in industries critical to our economic prosperity and national security.

"President Trump is ensuring that American businesses have the full force of the U.S. government behind them as they compete and win on the global stage," said Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick. "These record-shattering $383 billion in commercial deals are a testament to the strength of American industry and President Trump's unwavering commitment to delivering results for American companies and workers."

"Under President Trump and Secretary Lutnick's leadership, the International Trade Administration is turning American commercial victories overseas into economic gains here at home," said Under Secretary of Commerce William Kimmitt. "ITA's global network of trade professionals is working tirelessly to help American companies win contracts around the world, driving U.S. exports, strengthening American manufacturing, and supporting American workers throughout the country."

The record $383 billion in commercial deals won through U.S. Government commercial advocacy this Administration span key industry sectors including critical minerals, transportation infrastructure, information technology, energy, aerospace, defense, and safety and security equipment.

Building on this record success, the Trump Administration is eager to continue its momentum with an extraordinary pipeline of commercial opportunities. The ITA Advocacy Center currently has more than 1,540 active cases representing $1.7 trillion in project value, including over $1.2 trillion in expected U.S. exports. Concentrated in priority sectors critical to U.S. economic and national security, these opportunities have the potential to support more than 4.8 million American workers.
