Lane and Sidewalk Closure - Sycamore Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the outside northbound lane of South Sycamore Avenue will be closed between 41st Street and 42nd Street to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs. The east sidewalk along Sycamore Avenue will also be closed; pedestrians will be detoured to the west sidewalk.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within two days.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Beginning on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the outside eastbound lane of East 41st Street will be closed between Veterans Parkway and Grand Slam Avenue to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs. The south sidewalk along 41st Street will also be closed; pedestrians will be detoured to the north sidewalk.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within two days.
