GREEN, OH - Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) closed 2025 with 938,814 total commercial passengers, surpassing its original forecast of 925,000 travelers and marking one of the strongest years since 2017.
Passenger activity in 2025 represented a 23.54% increase over 2024 and a 12.52% increase compared to pre-pandemic 2019 levels, underscoring sustained demand for air travel in the region and the success of CAK's air service development strategy.
"This exciting growth reflects the confidence airlines and travelers continue to place in the Akron-Canton Airport," said Ren Camacho, CAK President and CEO. "Our community has shown up in a big way, and our airline partners responded with expanded service that gives Northeast Ohio travelers more nonstop options than ever before."
