The City Council hearing for the Parkside at Villages of Fairfield project has been rescheduled to November 4, 2025. The item was originally noticed for the October 21 Council meeting, but had to be continued to comply with updated state-mandated public noticing requirements.

About the Project:
A new residential neighborhood called Parkside at Villages of Fairfield is being proposed as part of the Villages of Fairfield master plan. Located at the northwest corner of Gulf Drive and Passion Lane, the project would complete the existing Village 1 neighborhood, east of Clay Bank Road, between the Linear Park and Manuel Campos Parkway.
The site was originally reserved for a potential elementary school; however, the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District (FSUSD) has declined to acquire the land and confirmed they do not plan to build a school at this location. As a result, the developer is requesting land use changes to support the construction of new housing
Project Name: Parkside at Villages of Fairfield
Project Description: 76 new single-family homes proposed on approximately 8 acres
Planning Commission: At its October 8 meeting, the Planning Commission approved Resolution PC2025-07, which includes approval of the tentative map and architectural plans for the Parkside project.
