Traffic Advisory - West Tarpon Boulevard between Azalea Avenue and Lakehurst Avenue Intermittent Lane Closure
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 30, 2026) - West Tarpon Boulevard between Azalea Avenue and Lakehurst Avenue will have intermittent lane closures 7:30 a.m. to 3 :30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1 through Wednesday, Oct. 7 for Lumos Fiber to install underground fiber.
Travelers are directed to a detour with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
