Public Assistance – Arson: C26-68531

The Winnipeg Police Service are requesting public assistance to identify a person of interest in relation to an arson that occurred on March 25, 2026, in the 100 block of Henderson Highway.

At 2:16 a.m., East District General Patrol officers were patrolling in the 100 block of Henderson Highway when they observed thick smoke coming from a vacant boarded up building. WFPS firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 2:55 a.m. No injuries were reported.

The Major Crimes Unit assumed the investigation and is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the following female:

She is described as:

  • Small build with long, dyed red hair
  • Wearing mukluks with tassels, a black hoodie or jacket, black and grey striped mittens, black pants, and glasses
  • Carrying a small black object, possibly a bag or purse

Anyone with information, or who may have dashcam, security, or cell phone video from around the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219 or anonymously at Crime Stoppers 204-786-TIPS or winnipegcrimestoppers.org.
