AC Transit and BART Join the Oakland Ballers for Public Transit Night on August 1

OAKLAND, Calif. - AC Transit and BART will team up with the Oakland Ballers on Saturday, August 1, for Public Transit Night: Ride the Rally, an evening celebrating East Bay baseball, regional pride, and the dedicated transit employees who keep the Bay Area moving.

As proud founding partners of the Oakland Ballers, AC Transit and BART are returning for the third annual Public Transit Night, continuing both partnerships that began with the team's inaugural season in 2024.

The defending Pioneer League champion Oakland Ballers will take on RedPocket Mobiles for a memorable summer night game at Raimondi Park. Fans are encouraged to ride public transit to the ballpark and enjoy special in-game moments featuring transit employees, family-friendly activities, and an evening of baseball, community, and East Bay pride.

The first 750 fans entering the ballpark will receive a commemorative Public Transit Night pin. Join fellow Oakland Ballers fans at Prescott Market for a pre-game block party starting at 3:30, featuring live music and family fun. Prescott Market is located at 1620 18th Street, Oakland CA.

Transit Information:

From the West Oakland BART station, connect to AC Transit Line 22 and walk one block west to Raimondi Park.

From Downtown Oakland or the 19th St. BART station, take AC Transit Line NL to W. Grand Ave. and Mandela Parkway and walk two blocks south to Raimondi Park.
