LEXINGTON, NE - Today, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) met with local leaders in Lexington amid the January 20 closure of Tyson Food's processing plant. Senator Ricketts released the following statement:
"Today, I met with local leaders in Lexington, including the mayor and organizations like Lutheran Family Services (LFS). LFS and other local organizations are actively working with impacted workers and families from the Tyson plant closure to help them find work and assistance in the Lexington area.
"I will continue supporting these local leaders' efforts to assist impacted families and help these workers find new jobs in the area."
