The Village of Western Springs is pleased to announce the launch of a public survey for the Safe Travel to School Plan. Residents are encouraged to take part in the survey, to share ideas and experiences to help improve walking, biking, and rolling to local schools.
Gathering insights from the public is an important step in the planning process. Resident input will have a direct impact on the plan and will help Western Springs become a safer, more accessible, and more connected place for students and families.
Input is sought from students in Western Springs, parents, residents, and business owners. Please share your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions about improving student safety on their trip to school. Streets that are safe for children are safe for everyone, so we encourage everyone to participate. Additional opportunities to get involved will take place through the summer and fall, so follow the Village website and social media and to receive additional updates.
The survey will be available online until May 26, 2025. Resident input is crucial in helping create a plan that represents the community and its students.
