NEW YORK, MARCH 24, 2026 - Dolphin (NASDAQ: DLPN), an entertainment marketing and content production company, today announced the elevation of Marilyn Laverty from CEO to chairman of its subsidiary Shore Fire Media. Laverty will focus on Shore Fire's strategic growth and advise its executive team while continuing to play a pivotal role in representing longtime clients Bruce Springsteen and Cyndi Lauper. Holding dual titles, she will also drive collaboration across Dolphin's portfolio of businesses as a senior advisor to the marketing supergroup.

"Growing Shore Fire into a renowned industry leader with expertise across many facets of art and culture, and nurturing an executive team that is unsurpassed in talent, what Marilyn has been able to accomplish with the company over the past few decades is nothing short of remarkable," said Dolphin CEO Bill O'Dowd. "There's a good reason she's received so many industry accolades, but I also can't credit her enough for championing a true spirit of collaboration between the Dolphin companies. Her efforts to foster community and identify the many ways that our subsidiaries can best support one another and our clients have proven invaluable to our business model and success, and I am excited about continuing that work together."

"Shore Fire has grown tremendously since joining Dolphin, and my role has naturally evolved as a result," added Laverty. "As we continue to grow our team and expand our services and roster into new areas, I look forward to ensuring that our next generation of leaders is set up for ongoing success - as well as exploring more opportunities for us to collaborate creatively with our sister companies under the Dolphin umbrella. Adaptability and community have always been hallmarks of our company. At this point in my career, that is how I can best foster an environment for fresh ideas to flourish - propelling the company even further."

As a member of the Dolphin family, Shore Fire has shared in its recognition as Observer's No. 1 agency of the year on their annual list acknowledging the most powerful public relations firms. Since joining Dolphin in 2019, the company has continued to expand its clientele base into new industries - serving talent, organizations and brands across the arts, culture and entertainment - and now offers services that lie outside the realm of traditional public relations as well, from content strategy and management to strategic partnerships and events.

Named one of Billboard's top "Women in Music" and "Power Publicists," Laverty is a graduate of Cornell University and serves on the Entrepreneurship at Cornell Advisory Council as well as the President's Council of Cornell Women. A former freelance journalist for U.K. and U.S. music magazines, Laverty was the national vice president of publicity for Columbia Records before founding Shore Fire in 1990. One of the first in a wave of music companies to establish headquarters in Brooklyn, Shore Fire helped develop the New York City borough's thriving music industry - and has since expanded across the country, with dedicated teams in Los Angeles and Nashville.

Shore Fire's new CEO will soon be announced.
