Independence Blue Cross (IBX) welcomed small business leaders from across the Philadelphia region to Citizens Bank Park for its annual Business at the Ballpark event, a day dedicated to networking, leadership development, workplace wellbeing, and business growth.
The event reflects IBX's commitment to helping local businesses thrive by connecting employers with expert insights, practical tools, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities. It also reinforces the company's Never stop caring campaign, which celebrates the power of caring for employees, customers, and communities to create stronger, healthier organizations.

The event also featured Anna Greenwald, Founder and CEO of On the Goga, who shared strategies for building meaningful workplace wellbeing programs that support employee health, engagement, and performance.
In addition, attendees participated in "Building a Culture of Mental Health First Aiders," a session designed for business leaders and HR professionals that introduces the ALGEE action plan-the five-step framework at the heart of Mental Health First Aid training. The session demonstrated how equipping employees at every level with these skills can help organizations recognize mental health and substance use challenges, foster supportive conversations, and build stronger workplace cultures.
Dave Stefanski, Partner at Heart to Beat, discussed how organizations can protect their employees through comprehensive life-safety programs, including AED program management, CPR, First Aid, and Mental Health First Aid training, as well as compliance consulting services.
Additional opportunities throughout the day included networking with fellow business leaders, discussions on workplace well-being and leadership, and special experiences at Citizens Bank Park.
