The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce's First Friday Luncheon celebrated the strength of collaboration between Tomball ISD and the City of Tomball, highlighting shared achievements and a continued commitment to community growth.
Superintendent Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora delivered an inspiring presentation that showcased the district's national and state academic rankings, the expansion of innovative Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, updates on the Innovation Center and school initiatives, and progress on new facilities funded by the 2021 Bond-including the future Multi-Program Activity Center, which will serve students across a variety of programs.
Dr. Salazar-Zamora also emphasized the district's unwavering focus on school safety, underscoring the role of dedicated School Resource Officers and the essential support provided by community partners and the Tomball Education Foundation in enriching student experiences.
The luncheon welcomed 182 community members, including Mayor Lori Klein Quinn, further underscoring the strong ties between the district and the City of Tomball. A highlight of the event was the announcement of a generous $200,000 donation from the Tomball Regional Health Foundation, reinforcing the community's shared commitment to investing in the future of Tomball's students and families.
Together, Tomball ISD and the City of Tomball continue to set the standard for excellence in education and community partnership, building a brighter future for all who call Tomball home.
