The Honorable Burton R. Lifland Mentor Award is presented annually by the New York Institute of Credit (NYIC) to an industry leader who has demonstrated exceptional guidance and mentorship to future leaders in the financial, credit, restructuring, and bankruptcy sectors. The NYIC is a nonprofit organization composed of educators, credit executives, accountants, and lawyers dedicated to bridging the gap between business theory and practice.
Robert is a Managing Director in EisnerAmper's Financial Advisory Services Group. His experience includes working with public and private middle-market companies facing bankruptcy, operational challenges, and financial distress. He develops solutions to restructure or improve operating performance, prepares statements and forecasts, negotiates with creditors, and advises on the 363 sales process. Robert also helps clients raise capital, refinance debt, secure lines of credit, and guide them through strategic acquisitions.
