CONGRESSMAN CARLOS GIMENEZ INAUGURATES HIS BUS RAPID TRANIST SYSTEM
MIAMI, FL - Today, Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez joined federal, state, and local officials to inaugurate the new state-of-the-art Miami-Dade County Metro Express Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System.
Congressman Gimenez originally approved and launched the project during his tenure as Mayor of Miami-Dade County. The BRT is the first and longest system of its kind in the world, spanning 20 miles from South Miami to Florida City and connecting communities across South Dade with faster, more efficient public transportation.
