Gold Star Mothers Memorial Park Conceptual Design Open House Tuesday, June 9
The City of Cambridge invites residents to attend a Gold Star Mothers Park Design Open House on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Millers River Apartments Community Room, 15 Lambert Street. Please use the 15 Lambert Street entrance.
Gold Star Mothers Park, located at 123 Gore Street in East Cambridge, includes a playground, splash pad, athletic fields, basketball courts, pathways, trees, benches, and picnic areas. Following environmental cleanup work at the site, the existing athletic fields will be rebuilt and improved in their current location.
Building on ideas shared at April's community meeting, the City is developing plans to create a more welcoming, accessible, and active neighborhood park for people of all ages while honoring the history of Gold Star Mothers Park.
Join City staff and the project team to review the proposed design concepts, ask questions, and share your feedback. Your input will help shape the future renovation of the park.
