Some traditions are worth repeating.

The University of Toledo's 33rd annual Art on the Mall, a northwest Ohio tradition hosted by The University of Toledo Alumni Association, returns Sunday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The free public art show will spotlight more than 100 artists from around the region at Centennial Mall on UToledo Main Campus. Patrons can browse and purchase artwork spanning a variety of mediums, including acrylic, glass, pen and ink, oil, mixed media, metals, photography, ceramics, textiles, watercolor, woodwork and jewelry. Purchases can be made with cash or credit card directly at an artist's booth.

"Art on the Mall is a cornerstone of our summer programming and a fantastic way to welcome the community to UToledo," said William Pierce, UToledo associate vice president of alumni engagement and annual giving and executive director of the UToledo Alumni Association.

"Every year, the sheer talent of these artists transforms our campus into an incredible outdoor gallery."

Complimentary parking is available in Areas 1N, 1S, 2, 10 and 13. A golf cart shuttle service will be on hand to transport guests and their packages to and from their vehicles.

Beyond the booths, Art on the Mall will offer activities and entertainment throughout the day, including a young artist area for children, live music and a variety of festival food from local trucks and vendors.

Live music will run throughout the day, with sets from Toraigh from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., So Peachy from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. and Heidi Paxton from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m.

Food trucks and vendors on site will include:

• Dog Waggin'

• Deet's BBQ

• Icy Paw

• Kraken Kettle Corn

• Loaded Chicken

• Susie Lynn's Lemonade

• K&K Funnel Cakes

Representatives from Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan will jury the artists' work. Prizes will be given to the top artists, and UToledo's Best of Show award will be presented to an artist who is affiliated with the University.

"We are excited to see the crowds return to Centennial Mall and the area surrounding Memorial Field House," Pierce said. "The energy this event brings is infectious, and it remains a privilege to host such a wonderful tradition for both our artists and the Toledo community."

Art on the Mall is supported for 2026 by University of Toledo Federal Credit Union, Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, Lexus of Toledo, Mail It, Meredith Party Rentals, 13abc, Domino's Pizza and Jersey Mike's.
