Public Notice: Public Hearing to Amend Zoning Ordinance for Annexation on May 19, 2026

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Phenix City, Alabama, in response to a request made by the Planning Commission of the City of Phenix City, Alabama, will meet on the 19th day of May, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST, at the City Council Chambers located in the Public Safety Building at 1111 Broad Street, Phenix City, Alabama, to consider an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Phenix City, Alabama, adopted on the 17th day of September, 2002 so that a tract of land be located in an R-1 Zone (Low Density Residential District), property consists of 0.35+/- acres more or less and is located on US 2309 12th
Street South, Cleve Huckaby, Stanley Huckaby and Steve Huckaby owners.

At said meeting all persons desiring to be heard concerning the zoning of the above-described property may appear before the Council at the aforementioned time and place to be heard.
