President Meloni’s telephone conversation with Alberto Trentini’s mother

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the mother of Alberto Trentini, who is being detained in Venezuela. President Meloni once again expressed her personal solidarity and that of the Government to the family of the Italian aid worker, who received a visit from the Italian Head of Mission in Caracas on 23 September. President Meloni confirmed to Mrs Colusso Trentini that the Government is paying great attention to the matter and is fully committed to achieving a positive outcome through all practicable channels.
