MOMIX Alice to Perform at Ball State’s Emens Auditorium, March 10

MOMIX Alice will bring acrobatics, illusion, and inventive movement to Ball State University's Emens Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Tickets are on sale online at Ticketmaster, at the Emens Box Office (1800 W. Riverside Ave.), or by phone at 765-285-1539.

Created by Moses Pendleton, MOMIX Alice is inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and blends illusion, acrobatics, magic, and whimsy as audiences travel down the rabbit hole.

"I don't intend to retell the whole Alice story, but to use it as a taking-off point for invention," Mr. Pendleton said, "I'm curious to see what will emerge, and I'm getting curiouser and curiouser the more I learn about Lewis Carroll, who, like me, was a devoted photographer."

The performance features a series of imaginative scenes and characters-including the Caterpillar, the White Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts-brought to life through athleticism, theatrical effects, and striking visuals.

Described by The Wall Street Journal as filling "the stage with a marvelously dizzying flow of physical activities and illusions amid expansive, artful projections," MOMIX Alice offers a fast-moving, visually rich take on a familiar story.
