Jared Lougher, Sport and Leisure Services Manager, said
"It was fantastic to see so many schools take part in this year's Cross Country event. The level of enthusiasm and effort from the children was outstanding, and it really showcased the positive role sport plays in building confidence, friendships, and healthy habits from an early age."
Sport Caerphilly would like to thank all schools, teachers, volunteers, and families who supported the day, along with students from Coleg y Cymoedd who kindly gave their time to help deliver the event.
The event supports the Council's Sport and Active Recreation Strategy 2019-2029, which is committed to increasing opportunities for the community to be active, develop their potential, and enjoy the many benefits of sport.
