Willkie is representing Insight Partners in the sale of its portfolio company Promptfoo, a leading provider of AI security solutions, to OpenAI.

Promptfoo is an open source AI security testing platform that helps enterprises identify and remediate vulnerabilities in their AI systems before deployment.

Willkie previously advised Insight Partners as lead investor in an $18.4 million Series A funding round for Promptfoo in 2025.

Insight Partners is a global software investor partnering with high-growth technology, software, and Internet startup and ScaleUp companies.
