UW-Oshkosh honors military with series of events during Veterans Week Nov. 10-15

The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh will proudly honor the service and sacrifice of U.S. military veterans during Veterans Week 2025, a campus-wide celebration hosted by the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) and Student Veterans Association (SVA).
From Nov. 10-15, students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to participate in a series of events designed to recognize and celebrate those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The week's programming offers opportunities for connection, reflection and appreciation.

UW-Oshkosh staff placed hundreds of flags in front of Dempsey Hall in advance of Veterans Day Nov. 11.

Monday, Nov. 10
Game Night | 5:30 p.m. at The TUG
Tuesday, Nov. 11
Veteran Discussion Panel |1:00 p.m. at Reeve Ballroom 227
"From Service to Belonging: Identity, Connection, and Purpose in the Post-Military Journey"
Join veterans as they share personal stories and insights on life after service.
Wednesday, Nov. 12
VetsGiving Potluck | 11:00 a.m. at Dempsey 130
Celebrate community and gratitude with a shared meal.
Wednesday-Thursday, Nov. 12-13
ROTC Turkey Shoot | 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Kolf
Test your aim and enjoy some friendly competition hosted by ROTC.
Friday, Nov. 14
Movie Night | 7:00 p.m. at Sage 1234
Saturday, Nov. 15
Veterans Appreciation Home Game | 1:00 p.m. Titan Stadium
Join us as we honor two local veterans who have made lasting contributions to our community. Come out to support our Titans and salute our local heroes!
All events are free and open to the campus and surrounding community.
Veterans Week is a time to come together, reflect on the meaning of service and show appreciation for those who have answered the call.
