Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Xiao Jianguo Bids Farewell to Chinese Community in Brunei

From November 21 to December 11, 2025, H.E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo bid farewell to the Chinese community in Brunei, including the Brunei-China Friendship association, the Brunei-China One Belt One Road Association, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Brunei, the Fuzhou Shiyyi Association, the Wushu Federation of Brunei, Teng Yun Chinese Temple, the Hainan Association Kuala Belait, as well as the Foochow Association Kuala Belait.

Ambassador Xiao reviewed the development of China-Brunei relations during his tenure, expressed gratitude to local Chinese community for their support, and spoke highly of their important contributions to promoting cooperation across various fields between China and Brunei, fostering people-to-people exchanges, and deepening mutual understanding between the two countries. Ambassador Xiao expressed his expectation for their longstanding care for China-Brunei friendship, support for China's reunification, and continuous efforts with the Embassy to advance the building of China-Brunei community with a shared future to new heights.

The representatives from local Chinese community extended their appreciation for the positive contributions Ambassador Xiao has made to the development of Brunei-China relations during his tenure, as well as the care and support from the Embassy. They expressed their willingness to continue working with the Embassy to promote Brunei-China friendship and deepen practical cooperation.
