Nampa Mayor and Council Members to be Sworn in January 5

On Monday, January 5, the City of Nampa will officially swear-in its newly elected Mayor and Nampa City Council members in a ceremony open to the public at Nampa City Hall, located at 411 3rd Street South, at 5 p.m.

Current Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling will be honored for her two terms in office, along with Councilman Randy Haverfield, who has served on the Nampa City Council for the past 12 years and has also contributed to several other boards and commissions.

Mayor Debbie Kling shared, "It has been a privilege to serve as Nampa's mayor over the past eight years, alongside Nampa City Council and our amazing employees. Nampa has a solid foundation and is well-positioned for a great future. As I step aside, I would like to thank Mayor-elect Hogaboam and the Nampa City Council for their willingness to serve our city and its residents. I'm certain we are in good hands!"

Mayor: Rick Hogaboam

Nampa City Council:

District 1: Debbie Skaug

District 3: David Bills

District 5: Victor Rodriguez

The swearing-in ceremony will include the oath of office for the elected officials, followed by their brief remarks. The community and media are invited to attend the short ceremony. Light refreshments will be available following the ceremony.
