Wagenborg reaffirms its commitment to seafarers' safety, wellbeing and mental resilience

On 25 June, the International Day of the Seafarer, Wagenborg recognises the professionalism, resilience and responsibility of the seafarers who operate our vessels every day - often far from home and sometimes in complex or high-risk environments.

Seafarers make up the majority of Wagenborg's workforce, and their safety and wellbeing are fundamental to how we operate. Safety is our highest priority, embedded in our culture, leadership and daily decision-making across all divisions.

Wellbeing and mental health at sea

Working at sea can be demanding - physically, socially and mentally. Wagenborg recognises that wellbeing goes beyond physical safety alone. Our approach focuses on:
