SAN FRANCISCO - On Monday, November 4, 2024, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park will temporarily suspend the $15 entrance fee to access the historic ships on Hyde Street Pier. The last day for public visitation to Balclutha will be Sunday, November 3. The collection of fees supports park operations. San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park will continue to sell interagency passes at the entrance to Hyde Street Pier and through the third-party program established with The Bay Company.

The historic pier and Balclutha, a three-masted, steel-hulled, square-rigged ship, will be open for visitation on October 26 and 27 and November 2 and 3.

Information on the relocation of the fleet to Mare Island can be found on the park website at: Frequently Asked Questions - San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (U.S. National Park Service)
