City of Norman's 2026 Residential Spring Clean-Up Information

Information and dates concerning the City of Norman's 2026 Residential Spring Clean-Up, as forwarded along from the Utilities Department, can be found below:
April 04 Residential customers who have Monday polycart service
April 11 Residential customers who have Tuesday polycart service
April 18 Residential customers who have Wednesday polycart service
April 25 Residential customers who have Thursday polycart service
May 02 Residential customers who have Friday polycart service

Make sure all items are placed curbside no later than 7:30 a.m. on your designated collection day. The Spring Clean-Up is intended for bulky waste items that may need to be disposed of during seasonal cleaning for Norman utility customers. These items will end up in a landfill but customers interested in recycling items that are in decent shape are encouraged to read about and contact charities that may pick up for free!
Residents may place items at the curb no earlier than one week before scheduled collection day. Solid Waste Collection crews are not able to accept yard waste of any kind, remodeling or demolition debris such as broken concrete, bricks, lumber, sheetrock, shingles, junk cars, or any hazardous waste such as tires, batteries, paints, etc. Polycarts, wagons, wheelbarrows, etc., are not to be used as containers for clean up items. The Transfer Station at 3901 S. Chautauqua, will be open and free on the above Saturdays for any Norman sanitation customer, so residents may haul their own applicable waste if desired (demo materials may still incur a cost). If visiting the Transfer Station, remember to take a current City of Norman utility bill. Questions may be directed to the Sanitation Department at 405-329-1023.
*COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS IS NOT CONSIDERED PART OF THE SPRING CLEANUP AND WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE TRANSFER FACILITY AT THE NORMAL COMMERCIAL DISPOSAL RATE.*
*HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE ITEMS CAN BE DROPPED OFF BY APPOINTMENT-ONLY TO THE HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY. LEARN MORE HERE.*
