ROCHESTER, N.Y. - On October 15, 2026. Carestream Health recently received another credit rating upgrade from Moody's Ratings, reflecting continued progress in the company's financial performance. Moody's raised Carestream's Corporate Family Rating to B3 and maintained a stable outlook.
The upgrade recognizes the steps Carestream has taken to reduce debt, strengthen its financial structure, and focus resources on its core digital imaging business.
Moody's also cited expectations for continued debt reduction, further business simplification, and improvements in financial strategy and risk management. The stable outlook reflects expectations that Carestream will continue executing its strategy while maintaining good liquidity and low leverage.
"This upgrade is important because it provides independent recognition of the progress we are making to strengthen Carestream's financial position," said Megan Marquez, Chief Financial Officer of Carestream Health. "We remain focused on being a reliable long-term partner for our customers while continuing to invest in the products, services, and support they depend on."
This is the second ratings improvement Carestream has received during 2026. It follows refinancing completed earlier in the year that significantly reduced the company's debt and extended repayment timelines, giving Carestream greater flexibility to support its operations and long-term priorities.
The latest upgrade marks another step forward in Carestream's ongoing work to build a stronger financial foundation while continuing to serve customers and invest in its business.
