The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, attends the Easter liturgy at the Sioni Patriarchal Cathedral together with his children

The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, accompanied by his children, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze and representatives of the executive and legislative branches of government, attended the Easter liturgy held at the Sioni Patriarchal Cathedral.

The solemn service was officiated by the Locum Tenens of the Patriarchal Throne, Metropolitan Shio (Mujiri) of Senaki and Chkhorotsku, concelebrating with hierarchs and clergy.

Prior to the commencement of the liturgy, the congregation assembled at the Sioni Cathedral listened to the Easter Epistle delivered by Metropolitan Shio (Mujiri).
