Bankruptcy Noticing Center Delivery to Canada Suspended

Bankruptcy noticing to Canada is currently impacted due to a shutdown of Canada Post that began on September 26, 2025, following national labor actions. Since that date, the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) has been unable to deliver notices to recipients in Canada. Court-issued notices between September 26, 2025 and October 1, 2025 are being held at the U.S.-Canada border and will not be delivered to their intended recipients until the strike ends.

As of October 2, 2025, the BNC contractor began bypassing notices containing Canada in the last line of the address. Bypassed addresses are indicated on the BNC Certificate of Service as undeliverable.

Please refer to the BNC website https://bankruptcynotices.uscourts.gov/ or updates.
