Pedestrian Fatally Struck In Saturday's Crash On Bell Road

A pedestrian has died after being struck by an Acura Integra early Saturday morning in the 1100 block of Bell Road. The preliminary investigation indicates the 43-year-old man stepped off the sidewalk to cross from north to south when he was struck by the eastbound Acura.

There were no signs of impairment at the scene.

The 43-year-old was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. Efforts are underway to notify his family.
