Death Investigation at Morton Street and West Selden Street in Mattapan

At approximately 10:31 PM, on Thursday, January 30, 2025, Officers responded to a radio call for a person shot at the intersection of Morton Street and W Selden Street. While enroute, Officers were informed by Boston EMS that they had already arrived on scene and were transporting the victim to Boston Medical Center for further evaluation. The victim later succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
