CARY, NC - Applause! Cary Youth Theatre is bringing the inspiring story of Jane Goodall's childhood to the stage with the regional premiere of 'Me...Jane: The Dreams & Adventures of Young Jane Goodall," Oct. 23-25.

Based on the book by Patrick McDonnell, the musical follows young Jane and her expeditions with her chimpanzee, Jubilee. See how Jane's outdoor adventures with Jubilee inspired her to spend her life helping animals. The show's family-friendly and great for children ages 4+. Tickets are on sale now

Applause! Cary Youth Theatre offers classes, camps, workshops, and performance opportunities for youth ages 2-18. Through acting, dancing, and behind-the-scenes experiences, participants build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and explore their creativity in a supportive environment.

When joining the production cast, youth gain skills beyond mastering their acting and dancing. Participants discover ways to communicate, solve problems, and share ideas in a safe and supportive environment. Students can sign up to join the Applause! Design Team, where they work alongside professional theatre artists to create sets and costumes for upcoming shows.

Can't make this season's performance? Mark your calendars for the Dec. 4 and 6 Applause! performances of "A Peter Rabbit Christmas." Auditions for this holiday show are Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 5-9 p.m. at the Cary Arts Center.
