Rhythm and Roots Moved to Oct. 17 at Goodyear Ballpark
Due to anticipated stormy weather this weekend, the city of Goodyear has rescheduled its Ritmos y Raices | Rhythm and Roots celebration to Friday, October 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will now take place at Goodyear Ballpark, offering the same exciting lineup in a new location.
This vibrant festival celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with a lively mix of music, dance, food, and cultural traditions for the whole family.
This year's event is bigger than ever - featuring lucha libre wrestling and a classic car show presented by Tolleson Classics, Old Memories Phoenix, and Dukes Phoenix. Guests can also enjoy Cumbia, Ballet Folklorico, and Mariachi performances, plus food from Hispanic-owned vendors, a beer and cocktail garden, and artisan booths.
Interactive craft activities and a flag garden showcasing the flags of Hispanic countries with educational information round out this community celebration.
