Portions of Three Streets to Close Beginning October 27

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of three streets will close beginning Monday, October 27. The closures are as follows:

Northbound 13th Street between "O" and "P" streets will be closed for streetscape and LES utility work. This work is expected to be completed by mid-December. The sidewalks on the east side of 13th Street will be closed during this work. The recommended detour is "O" Street to 12th Street to "P" Street.

40th Street between "O" and Randolph streets and westbound Randolph Street between 40th and 48th streets will be closed for the next phase of a water main replacement project. This work is expected to be completed by the end of November. Local access will be maintained during this work. The sidewalks on the east side of 40th Street and north side of Randolph Street will be closed during this work. The recommended detour is "O" Street to 48th Street to "A" Street.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public's patience during this closure and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
