Morocco’s FM, Congolese Counterpart Discuss Ways to Deepen Bilateral Cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Mr. Nasser Bourita held fruitful talks on Tuesday in Rabat with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Congolese Abroad of the Republic of the Congo, Constant-Serge Bounda, focusing on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

During this meeting, the two ministers highlighted the depth and strength of the bonds of friendship, as well as the feelings of esteem and respect existing between His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Denis Sassou Nguesso.

They expressed satisfaction with the privileged nature of the cooperation relations between the two countries, as well as their determination to inject new momentum into them and make the Morocco-Congo partnership a model of inter-African cooperation.

In this regard, the two ministers agreed to convene, in the coming months, the next Morocco-Congo Joint Cooperation Commission in order to boost and diversify areas of cooperation.
