While Cedar Park has experienced only minimal impacts so far, we are closely monitoring the situation in coordination with state, county, and neighboring city officials. Our emergency teams remain on standby and ready to assist where needed.
The Mayor of Cedar Park, Jim Penniman-Moring stated, "The devastation from this ongoing flooding has profoundly affected us all. Our hearts go out to every family, every neighbor, and every business affected by this disaster."
While Cedar Park has experienced only minimal impacts so far, we are closely monitoring the situation in coordination with state, county, and neighboring city officials. Our emergency teams remain on standby and ready to assist where needed. Cedar Park Fire is currently assisting Liberty Hill responders with rescue operations through Auto Aid.
For Cedar Park residents:
Rain is expected to continue through the afternoon and evening, with just under an inch of additional rainfall between noon and 7 p.m. At this time, all low-water crossings in Cedar Park are closed except for Cedar Park Drive. We will continue to share updates as needed.
