Inseason Action #22 in Ocean Salmon Fisheries, North of Cape Falcon (commercial), U.S./Canada border to Cape Falcon, Oregon

NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the commercial salmon troll fishery north of Cape Falcon.

  • Effective May 15, the landing and possession limit for the entire area between Cape Falcon and the U.S./Canada border will be modified to 60 Chinook per vessel per landing week (Thursday through Wednesday).
  • Effective May 15, the landing and possession limit in the combined subareas between the U.S./Canada border and the Leadbetter Point will be modified to 50 Chinook per vessel per landing week (Thursday through Wednesday).
