ESSINGTON ROAD (CATON FARM ROAD - INGALLS AVENUE) TRAFFIC MODIFICATIONS BEGIN JULY 14 2025Post Date:07/14/2025 4:06 PM For Immediate Release Contacts July 14, 2025 City of Joliet: 815-724-4000 ESSINGTON ROAD (CATON FARM ROAD - INGALLS AVENUE) TRAFFIC MODIFICATIONS BEGIN JULY 14, 2025 Joliet, IL - As part of the Essington Road Water Valve Improvement Project, northbound Essington Road (between Caton Farm Road and Ingalls Avenue) will have the left lane closed for northbound traffic starting on Monday, July 14, 2025, through Friday, July 18, 2025. The work is expected to be completed, and all lanes will be reopened by 5:00 pm on Friday, July 18th. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes for the duration of the work. We appreciate your patience and ask that you drive slowly and cautiously through any construction zone.
