Statement from Congressman Moulton on the Passing of State Rep. Ann-Margaret Ferrante

SALEM, MA - Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-06) has issued the following statement regarding the passing of Massachusetts State Representative Ann-Margaret Ferrante.

"I'm deeply saddened by the passing of Ann-Margaret Ferrante. She was a dear friend, an accomplished legislator, and a champion for the people of Cape Ann. Ann-Margaret led with compassion, integrity, and a profound belief in the dignity of every person she represented. Born into a fishing family, she worked tirelessly to ensure our fishermen kept their rightful place in our local economy and community. My thoughts are with her loved ones, her colleagues, and the entire Cape Ann community that she fought for so fiercely. We all have lost a remarkable public servant, and I have lost a dear friend."
