DNC on the House Passage of the Rigged Missouri Congressional Maps Arrow

Missouri Republicans once again bow down to the whims of Donald Trump, Missouri House Democrats fought like hell for the people of Missouri

Today, Missouri House Republicans voted to pass Trump's rigged congressional maps out of the Missouri House of Representatives.

Missouri House Democrats fought like hell, including three members hosting a "sit-in" in the legislative chamber for nearly a week, and Democrats will continue to use all tools at our disposal to fight these rigged maps

DNC Chair Ken Martin issued the following statement:

"Missouri House Republicans following the lead of Donald Trump to rig the state's congressional maps is corruption at its worst. Missouri House Democrats fought back every step of the way - including Representatives Reed, Fuchs, and Dean, who hosted a sit-in since Thursday to stand up for Missouri voters. The American people are fed up with Donald Trump and his Republican circus. Costs are rising, the economy is tanking, and his signature legislation is a massive transfer of wealth from the bottom to the top. No wonder Trump is trying to rig the game - he knows Republicans can't win elections on their abysmal record. Democrats will continue to fight back every step of the way - and make no mistake, this fight in Missouri isn't over."
