BPD Community Alert: Detectives Assigned to District B-2 Seek the Public’s Help Identify Suspect in Roxbury Robbery

BPD Community Alert: Detectives assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an unarmed robbery that took place on January 8, 2025, at approximately 6:13 PM at 12 Cherokee Street.

The suspect is described as a Black Hispanic male, approximately 5'6″ tall, with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a white parka jacket, dark pants, black shoes, black gloves, and a helmet featuring orange arrow designs.

During the incident, the suspect reportedly pushed an elderly victim against a wall before entering the hallway of the building and stealing a package. He then fled the scene on a moped with a food delivery bag attached to the back, heading towards Pontiac Street.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
