A failing culvert on Mitchell Rd., near the intersection of Myrtle Ave., is causing persistent flooding and significant road issues, leading to the formation of deep potholes. The area has been assessed, and the necessary Underground Service Alerts are in place, confirming that utilities have marked the site and that it is ready for repairs. The Freshwater road crew is prepared to begin work as soon as weather conditions allow.
The Freshwater road crew maintains 252.72 miles of roadway in their area, and this is one of several failing culverts they are responsible for repairing. With a team of five road workers and one supervisor, they are working diligently to address storm damage and roadway concerns efficiently. The community's patience and support are greatly appreciated as the crew continues its efforts to keep the roads safe and well-maintained.
