DLA Information Operations Digital Advantage Plan: Progress Update

FORT BELVOIR, Va. -

Defense Logistics Agency Information Operations is making significant strides in its Digital Advantage Acceleration Plan. In the first 45 days, the team has focused on IT Infrastructure initiatives such as establishing our Google Cloud platform, deploying the DoD Integrated Phone System (DIPS), the Delayed Containers Aggregated View, and the APEX - Awards Tool.

These initiatives are particularly focused on enhancing efficiency and providing tangible value to the workforce.

DLA kicked off its Digital Advantage Acceleration Plan, or 100 Days of Summer, at the end of June with a focus on delivering valuable capabilities to the agency over 100 days. The goal is to deliver real-world solutions to prepare the agency for the next 5-10 years as the global landscape changes.

Over the next couple of months, DLA will continue to accelerate capability delivery, expect significant advancements in Connected IT and DLA's single employee portal, DLA Connect, WMS, and VCAL.

Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to build a more agile and resilient logistics network.
