Join Farm Bureau at Dakotafest

South Dakota Farm Bureau (SDFB) will lead conversations on hot topics in agriculture at Dakotafest, August 18-20 near Mitchell, SD.

The Congressional Forum, hosted by SDFB, features South Dakota's congressional delegation answering questions about federal ag policy and current ag issues. An annual tradition, the forum offers attendees a chance to hear firsthand from their elected officials about actions in D.C. that may impact the industry.

In addition, SDFB partners with Farm Bureau Financial Services to provide information, entertainment and connection in their booth. Each day, start your visit to Dakotafest at the Farm Bureau Hoop Building (Lot 447) with free coffee and donuts while they last. While there, get a free Farm Bureau bucket and register for a chance to win one of two cool retro 7.5 cu. ft. refrigerators.

There will be live music from singer-songwriter Tyson Schulte on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday will feature a Behind the Scenes Q&A with the finalists for Woman Farmer/Rancher of the Year.
