Three representatives from the University of Evansville's (UE) Emily M. Young Mental Health Clinic have been invited to present at the 24th International Conference of the International Society for Psychological and Social Approaches to Psychosis (ISPS), taking place July 6-8 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Dr. Jennifer Braun, Director, UE Emily M. Young Mental Health Clinic and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology, student clinician Dylan Davis, and Physician Assistant and Clinical Instructor Katherine Hulsey, will participate in a 90-minute symposium highlighting the Clinic's interdisciplinary approach to serving individuals with complex mental health needs. Dr. Baun will chair the symposium, while Davis and Hulsey will present on their respective roles in patient care and clinical training.
Conference organizers invited the team to share the Clinic's collaborative interdisciplinary model, which combines faculty supervision, student training, comprehensive clinical care, and integrated healthcare services delivered through the Clinic's physician assistant.
"This invitation is a tremendous honor for our team and reflects the innovative work being done through the Emily M. Young Mental Health Clinic and broader University," said Dr. Braun. "We are excited to share our interdisciplinary approach to care and training with colleagues from around the world while representing the University of Evansville on an international stage."
