Five Albertsons Companies Own Brands Products Recognized Among the Best in PLMA’s 2026 Salute to Excellence Awards

Five Albertsons Companies Own Brands products have earned Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) 2026 Salute to Excellence Awards®, recognizing them among the best private label products across North America.

This year, more than 900 products were submitted by 53 North American retailers for consideration across the food, beverage, kitchen, household, and health and beauty categories. Entries were evaluated by a panel of professional and consumer judges on taste and sensory appeal, product concept, packaging and value for money.

Now in its 40th year, the Salute to Excellence Awards program recognizes outstanding food and non-food store brand products introduced within the past year at supermarkets, drug chains, mass merchandisers, wholesale clubs, convenience stores, specialty retailers and online.
