Broome County Highway Work Planned for Week of 7/7
(BROOME COUNTY, NY) - The following work is schedule on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, July 7th.
- Cleaning ditches and rebuilding shoulders on Ballyhack Road, Stratmill Road, Hardie Road, Brady Hill Road & Nanticoke Road
- Grader patching on Oquaga Lake Road
- Pavement work on Killawog Hill Road & Cherry Valley Hill Road
- Culvert work on Hale Eddy Road, Farm to Market Road, Old State Road, Killawog Hill Road & Hyde Street
- Mowing right of way on several county roads
- Painting on various county roads
Motorists are reminded to use caution in work zones, even when they are not active as some may be modified as constructions progresses. Slowing down is always the most effective way to keep yourself and workers safe. You may also want to give yourself extra time during commutes to accommodate for any detours or change in traffic patterns.
